  So I stopped by the Chowda House for lunch earlier this week. Had the shrimp sandwich lunch combo, which came with fries and cole slaw. And coffee. Food was mostly good, tho the cole slaw was bland. Service was ok, but my server changed midway through and also - though hard to believe in retrospect - pretty sure I heard two servers gossiping about me. Something to the extent to why is she dressed so fancy, oh is she Korean, or some other kind of Asian, blah blah blah.
  
  Pro tip: Maybe dont gossip about your customers *within hearing range of where they're sitting, or express casual racism.* i happen to have excellent hearing - one thing that comes in handy when you teach 8th graders- but this applies to uh, everyone. Us customers are human beings too, with feelings and opinions, regardless of the color of our skin, how nicely we're dressed, or the purpose of our visit to Red Bank. We should be treated with a modicum of decency and respect, and maybe more, if you want repeat customers.
