  I have been dealing with Monmouth Stamp and Coin since my father first introduced me to stamp collecting back in 1958. I have never found a more honest, dedicated and friendly group of people in any other retail business. Their knowledge is unbelievable and surprise me on every visit. Jules has always treated me fair with every purchase or sale I have gone in to see him about. He is very much on target with his appraisals. However most people have an inflated ego on what they have to sell or dispose of just because it was collected by a member of the family, so it has to be worth a small fortune. Unfortunately they think they can get what it is worth without understanding that the store they take it to has to sell it to some one else, and make a profit on that sale. So you will never get full retail value, just like trading in a car, you get blue book value and deductions based on condition. If you look at it that way you might see things a little differently.
