  My wife and I were referred to Riverview medical by Dr Patel for sonograms with the assertion that they participated in our insurance. Unfortunately Riverview also misinformed is about participating with or insuarance and we are being billed for approx $5,000. This is an absolutely disgusting.
  
  The doctor said he would help since he directed us based on our insurance but nothing has come of it.
  
  Yes, we also contacted our insurance( who also misinformed). But my complaint here is with the good doctor whom we entrusted, and set us on this path.
