  Was expecting a much better experience. I ordered the Cowboy Steak which was a 20oz Ribeye. Requested it to be cooked med-well. Came out well done, when mentioned it to the server. He took a picture of it with his phone, never even got the Manager involved. The Potatoes were cold. It was a expensive visit and it should have been perfect or made perfect. I will never recommend to a friend nor visit again. Lost my business.

  I went the Char this past weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. While the experience started well- beautiful restaurant, prompt and attentive service, it turned sour towards the tail end of my meal. I ordered a (good, if unremarkable) French Onion Soup and rack of Ribs for dinner, and felt uncomfortably full at the end of the meal, chalking it up to a relatively large meal. After going to sleep that evening, I awoke around 3 AM and had the worst bout of food poisoning I've ever had in my life- completely ruining my Sunday and causing me to have to miss work on Monday. I'll spare the gory details, but my girlfriend nearly had to drag me to the hospital for dehydration, but after several hours was finally able to begin drinking fluids and keeping them down.
  
  I would steer clear. I wouldn't wish what happened to me on my worst enemy.
